Hunting was fun.... but no deer for me. only saw one legal deer, and it was on private property, so no shootem. oh well. i hiked my ass off these last two weekends, and it was cold, so i am kinda glad its done with for the year. i think i have a couple of pics from up in the hills, so i wanna get those uploaded soon.

anyway, back to real life i guess.

I gots me a new job. I gots me an opportunity to be a 25% partner in a company. I gots me a new 3d program. And I gots me two weekends off for hunting... (if you dont like the idea of hunting animals... i dont care.)

So wit all dat goin, i havent taken much time to be around dA much. i pop in to check messages and thats about it. i have ideas comin out the wazzoo (not as painful as you might think) just no time/motivation to draw.

Played Halo 3 last night... shit. Played it all the way through in one sitting. Oh yeah. Kick ass.

I would love to review the whole thing, but I won't ruin it for anyone who hasn't played yet. I will just say this: Keep your head on a swivel, watch your ammo counter, and prepare for a fight. This is not like the other Halo games, this is brutal. It is an all out brawl from beginning to end. The graphics are insane and the...... screw this, I'm logging off and goin for the XBOX...

HALO 3!

Holy crap. I just looked at the calendar and realized that Halo comes out in a few days!!!

What does your creative space look like? Do you have everything organized? Do you have inspiring stuff on the walls? Do you even have a creative space, or do you just draw/write/dream wherever you feel like?

Mine is a mess. [link] I cleaned it up and it's still a mess. But it works best for me cause I can sit at the computer and listen to music, surf the web and still have enough space for the 8.5" x 11" copy paper that I usually draw on. I have a nice bright desk light so I can get right down next to my paper and still have good light on it.

When I get stuck on something, I can sit back in my chair, which is a rocker, and daydream. Often staring at the dragon on my wall, I wonder: "What state of mind was the artist in when he painted that?" Sometimes I look at the scribbles on the whiteboards that hang on my walls and wonder: "What state of mind was I in when I wrote that?" Some of them make no sense, and others light off a creative spark that refuses to die.
